Words of the Wise: Lotus Feet

Confucius said:

Be a lotus no matter
how ugly, how evil and
how sinful everyone around you
might become.

Do not allow yourself to be stained.

A lotus remains beautiful
even as it lingers
in the filthy waters
of the pond.

Do not be contaminated.
Do not be influenced by worthless means.
Remain radiant among the shadows of darkness.
Be a lotus.

It has to start with one to fill the pond with more.

Examination

One day my classmate said,
"Pwde bang tabi tayo pag may exam?"
"Can we sit together during exams?"

I asked him, "Why? Kopya ka?"
I asked him, "Why? Do you want to copy?"

He said, "Kasi I feel perfect when I'm beside you!"
He said, "Because I feel perfect when I'm beside you!"

U wont fully enjoy the swing
unless you raise your feet from the ground.


U wont fully enjoy a boat ride
unless you remove the rope's knot from the riverbank


Ur dog won't fully enjoy his |dog life"
unless you remove the chain around it neck.



Logic:
Never limit yourself when it comes to happiness.
